because kids matter to God!
Sunday Evenings 5 - 6:30 PM
Awana at Hope Chapel is for kids age 3 thru 6th grade. It consists three clubs with a typical evening consisting of three age appropriate components:
- Handbook Time — with emphasis on reviewing God's word and committing key Bible verses to memory.
- Game Time — age appropriate games that teach good sportsmanship and teamwork
- Council Time — an adult gives a message that clearly presents God's goodness and the gospel message.

Cubbies — Ages 3 - 4
Fun - and lots of it! Awana is fun with a purpose - to reach and train kids for Jesus Christ. Games, puppets, crafts, awards and other activities transform our preschool program into a lively weekly experience where fun and learning go hand in hand.

Sparks — K - 2nd Grade
The Awana club for children in kindergarten through second grade builds on the material taught in our preschool club. The aim of the curriculum is to take youngsters a step deeper into God's Word. After being immersed in solid foundational teaching at the preschool level, boys and girls frequently come to an understanding of their need to trust Christ as their personal Savior while in Sparks.

Truth & Training — 3rd - 6th Grade
The name Truth & Training reflects the passion of Awana to teach third through sixth-grade boys and girls the truth of God's Word and to train them to follow Christ in their daily lives. Our goal is that many of today's young people will become tomorrow's church leaders. T&T is the program that trains the leaders of tomorrow - today.
An Awana Evening
When your children come to Awana, they will have a great time, during 3 fun time blocks.

1. Game Time
Every Awana meeting has a segment of fun team competition. Organized games get all of the children to participate, unleashing natural energy, a sense of enthusiasm, and an atmosphere of having fun.

2. Handbook Time
Using achievement oriented learning segments, Awana training emphasizes the importance of God and His Word for sound living. Clubbers progress through workbooks at their own pace, and leaders meet with them individually to go over what they have learned.

3. Council Time
Council time begins with a group Bible lesson and is followed by awards and recognition for individual handbook progress.
