Women's Brunch
Once a month from Sept to June a brunch is held at a host home. A pot luck lunch is provided and various minitries are worked on. There is a time of prayer, a short devotional and lots of fellowship. The hope and prayer is to promote women of Hope Chapel to get to know each other and be supported by one another to get involved in the Church Life.
The brunch begins directly after Church. Directions are always available two weeks prior to the brunch and are also available at the women's ministry table. We often caravan to the home for those who do not know their way.
First Concern Pregnancy Resource Center
The women's group sponsors the First Concern Pregnancy Center which is located in Clinton, Ma. A baby bottle campaign was started to support First Concern. Women are encouraged to take a bottle, fill it with change and money, and return the bottle when it is full. All proceeds go to First Concern. Baby bottles are on the women's ministry table with a sign up sheet. We also create mom/baby celebration baskets which are given to women who have choosen to complete their pregnancy. There is also an ongoing diaper drive to collect new born disposable diapers.
Prayer Chain
A women's ministry prayer chain has developed and many miracles have truly happened through this ministry. No prayer request is turned down. With the permision of the requester, prayer requests are shared with women who are on Hope Chapel's e-mail listing.
