Why Hope Chapel...
We really believe that God cares deeply about people and therefore, as folks who identify with God, we ought to really care about people as well. We are confident that if you check out Hope, you would experience that care in many ways. Some you might expect...a warm welcome, the opportunity for friendship, loving support in times of crisis and transition, just to name a few. But we suspect you would also find something a bit unique at Hope Chapel. How would we articulate it?
Jesus said "I have come that they might have life and have it in abundance." (John 10:10) We don't know about you, but abundant living sounds pretty attractive to us. The problem lies in that it isn't so easy to actually experience abundant life where it matters most: our everyday lives. Our understanding is that if we really care about people the way that God does, then our purpose must be to see people experience God's love and purpose in their everyday lives. That is why Hope Chapel has committed itself to "assisting everyone to experience all God intends them to be" by helping people discover God's plan for their lives and the spiritual resources to live it.
All that could sound a bit intimidating; especially from a group of people you don't even really know. That's why it is extremely important to us that we create an environment where folks feel comfortable to explore the spiritual journey at their own pace, seeking answers to their own questions. God respects your right to decide for yourself and so do we.
We are on the journey of experiencing an authentic relationship with God. It would be great to have you join us on that journey.
