Operation Christmas Child (OCC) brings shoeboxes filled with gifts to children all around the world and for some, it is the only Christmas gift they will receive. Every year, Hope Chapel has collected boxes during collection week in November, and this year, we are becoming a relay center for OCC and hosting our own Packing Party in October.

We are collecting items each week until the party to assemble our goal of 100 boxes! Look below for suggestion items.

Besides PACKING, it is a PARTY!  We will also have fun carnival games, snacks, a taco station, and bouncy houses to make this a great party! Invite your friends, your scout group, and your family. Young or older, single or married, lets come together and be united for a common cause. All are welcome!

Suggested packing donations: Games/activities - Suggestions: small puzzles, notepads, small coloring books, paddle balls, No: activities that involve violence, or word games (not every child can read and/or speak English) *Socks (variety of sizes, either gender) *School supplies and/or accessories - Suggestions: pencils, sharpeners, crayons, solar calculators, markers, paper Accessories: sunglasses, hair clips, hats *Hygiene items - Suggestions: combs/brushes, toothbrushes, hair ties, bar soap, wash clothes, No: liquid items, toothpaste *Toys/balls - Suggestions: yo-yos, small balls or deflated large balls with pump, jump ropes, puppets, doll, musical instrument  (These are items that will delight a child immediately upon opening the box!)
